Cuban Embassy in Washington D.C. pays tribute to José Martí

With the interpretation of the Versos Sencillos by the youngest children, the Cuban Embassy in Washington D.C. paid tribute to the National Hero José Martí.

On the 128th anniversary of his fall in combat, the Cuban diplomats remarked the validity of the Apostle's ideas in the new generations. They also reiterated their commitment to Martí's ideal and to continue with the historical legacy of the most universal of all Cubans.

The simple but profound tribute concluded with the placement of flowers on the statue of José Martí that stands at the diplomatic headquarters.
