Cuban envoy meets new Permanente Secretary Dr. Gladys Mokhawa.

Cuban Ambassador to Botswana Patricia L. Pego Guerra, paid a Courtesy Call to the new Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation of Botswana, Dr. Gladys Mokhawa.

In the traditional amicable and respectful atmosphere the parties ratified the political will to continue strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations.

Botswana and Cuba established diplomatic relations on December 7th 1977.

2021 marks the 44th anniversary of a long path, full of shared interests, excellent results and potentialities.
