Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. April 9, 2018. Three Cuban medical specialists began work this week at the INTERMED Hospital in the city of Ulan Bator, as part of the agreement signed between that entity and Cuban Medical Services. Motivated by the advances in medicine and the health indices reached in the largest island of the Antilles, the INTERMD Hospital executives traveled to Cuba last year to sign the contract that will allow medical specialists from our country to work and contribute their knowledge to development health services in Mongolia.
Despite the cultural and linguistic differences between the two countries, the three Cuban doctors specializing in cardiology, oncology and rheumatology have joined the group of Mongolian doctors and specialists of this hospital to begin to care for patients and thus continue to put on high the prestige of Cuban medicine around the world.
