The Cuban Mission in London pays tribute to officers who fell in the line of duty while carrying out their internationalist mission.

London, United Kingdom. — The staff of the Mission of the Republic of Cuba in London gathered today in a solemn ceremony of revolutionary reaffirmation, dedicated to honouring the memory of the 32 brave officers of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (MINFAR) and the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) who lost their lives in the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, victims of a vile and criminal attack by imperialism.

During the meeting, Ambassador Ismara Vargas Walter emphasised that the blood shed by these combatants constitutes the ‘supreme proof of the internationalism that defines us as a nation’. She also stressed that they did not fall defenceless, but offered fierce and heroic resistance until their last breath, standing as a moral shield against barbarism and terrorism.

From London, despite the geographical distance, the members of the Mission reaffirmed their deep unity with the Cuban people and with the families of the fallen, convinced that the example of these heroes guides and strengthens the collective will to resist and overcome. In the face of hatred and terror, Cuba's response will always be unity, dignity and firmness.

Eternal glory to our heroes.

Homeland or Death.
