In an international context characterized by its complexity and given the need to spread scientific knowledge about the main global problems in order to generate possible solutions, the Cuban Network of Researchers in International Relations (REDINT) is relaunched.
The Network, created in 2016, brings together more than a hundred Cuban and foreign professionals who carry out scientific research on the international system. Its fundamental purposes are: to promote collaborative relationships among its members, to enhance the visibility of the research results of academics, teachers and specialists, as well as to share with the interested public the most relevant scientific production of researchers.
REDINT has a new website that publicizes the work of its members. There you can find the most recent articles in Spanish and English; specialized Cuban magazines; ongoing research projects; the latest published books; the announcement and results of academic events; doctoral programs, master's degrees and courses offered by Cuban universities and study centers, as well as various audiovisual materials and podcasts that reflect the debates and opinions of its researchers.
REDINT members have the opportunity to be part of a community of researchers that interacts through the REDINT 2.0 academic social network designed exclusively for them. This technological platform allows the exchange of knowledge, access to specialized bibliography, online debates through its virtual forum and videoconferences.
In the Network, coordinated by the "Raúl Roa García" Higher Institute of International Relations (ISRI), various teaching, academic and research institutions participate, such as the Center for Research on International Policies (CIPI), the Center for Hemispheric Studies and on the United States. (CEHSEU), the International Economy Research Center (CIEI), the World Economy Research Center (CIEM), as well as by other institutions that conduct studies on various aspects of international relations. REDINT also promotes the establishment of alliances and joint projects with other similar networks on an international scale.
The main contents of this Network are made available to the public through the website https://redint.isri.cu/ and you can follow its social networks on Facebook, Twitter and its YouTube channel.
