January 01, 2024 - As midnight approaches on the last day of the year in South Africa, the first of January arrives with force, a day of joy in Cuba as the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution is commemorated. The Cuban Embassy staff in this African country, together with members of the different collaboration brigades, celebrates another year of Revolution and socialism.
The Prensa Latina news agency correspondant in the country, Manuel Vázquez, remembered in his words the rebelliousness of those bearded men who fought in the Sierra Maestra mountains, the spirit of unity, the commitment to the Revolution, to the people, basic principles that must always continue to be defended. As we reach the 65th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, the fundamental task of all its children is to work hard to defend the ideals that led to our triumph in 1959.
