The Cuban Solidarity Forum of Ireland sends a message to the Cuban ambassador, rejecting the reinclusion of Cuba on the List of countries sponsoring terrorism.
Dublin, January 27, 2025. The National Coordinator of the Cuban Solidarity Forum of Ireland (CSFI), Mary Barry, sent a message to the Cuban ambassador in Ireland, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, condemning the reinclusion of Cuba in the List of sponsoring countries of terrorism, on the same day of the inauguration of North American President Donald Trump.
He points out that this action allows the United States to implement unilateral sanctions on the Island, making it impossible for Cuba to obtain international trade partners or carry out transactions with international banking systems, something that has caused much harm to the Cuban people in recent years.
Consider, also, that these despicable acts expose people's lives.
It specifies that Trump's measure is being carried out when Marco Rubio, who has always harbored a vile hatred towards Cuba, has been appointed as the new Secretary of State.
The Irish Cuba Solidarity Forum assures that it will continue to raise funds to send much-needed medical aid to the “Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital” in Havana and that it will inform its donors about the current treasonous and genocidal acts of the Trump Administration.
He concludes by remembering that Cuba is not alone and that of course WE WILL WIN.
