Doha, July 26, 2019. - The Cuban Hospital in Dukhan hosted the commemoration of the 66th Anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Garrisons. The event was attended by collaborators of the Medical Brigade, the officials of the Embassies of Cuba and Venezuela and a representation of the Cubans residing in the country.
During the cultural political gala, it paid tribute to the important revolutionary date, the Commander in Chief and the best friend of Cuba, Hugo Chávez Frías on the 65th Anniversary of his birth.
The artistic evening was in charge of the Artistic Brigade, composed of health workers, who through music, declamation and dance paid tribute to the historical date.
The Medical Director of the Cuban Hospital, Dr. Ángel Mario Felipe Garmendia, read the letter of the Chief of the medical collaboration in Qatar on the occasion and the recognition obtained - for the fourth consecutive year - by the Medical Brigade in Qatar. At the ceremony, the Chief of Nursing received the original trophy on the occasion of the Press Ganey Award for Excellence in Nursing 2018, awarded for the second time to the Cuban Hospital in Dukhan.
The central words of the activity were in charge of Yadirys Echenique Paz, Chargé d'Affaires ai, who told those present that: “The road is clear and this is what President Díaz-Canel has indicated:“ think as a country, think Cuba, it is that we all surrender ourselves body and soul to the service of the nation, taking full advantage of the most formidable and powerful force of the Revolution: Unity. ”
