Brussels, October 20, 2018. (CUBAN CULTURE DAY). A representation of the Association of Cubans residing in Ireland "Ernesto Che Guevara” is already in Brussels to participate in the debates of the XIII Meeting of Cubans Resident in Europe (ECRE).
The event, which had its beginning yesterday night and will continue until tomorrow, October 21, brings together Cubans living in Europe, from almost twenty countries, who will commemorate the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the wars of independence, the 65th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada Barracks and, they will celebrate the National Culture Day. The agenda of the meeting includes debates on the impact on the Cuban community in Europe of the extraterritorial application of the blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba, the Constitutional Reform process, relations between Cuba and the European Union, immigration issues, as well as the links between nation and emigration.
