Cubans in Sydney to host 10th Annual Sydney Casino Wheel Championship

Sydney, Australia 11-13 October. Throughout the weekend, the 10th Ruedas de Casino Championship will take place in the Australian city of Sydney. The event exalts the popular Cuban dance manifestation that has cultivated years of tradition in the southern country, by several generations of Cubans living here. 

The event, organised by ‘El Moro’, president of the Championship and member of the Cuban community living in Australia, will be attended by the Cuban Ambassador to Australia and will include talks, workshops and discussions on Cuban popular culture, in particular on the son and the casino as a manifestation of this popular art.
