Cypriot daily Haravgi publishes review of the tribute paid by the Cuban people on the occasion of the 173rd anniversary of José Martí during the historic March of the Torches.

Nicosia, Cyprus, February 2, 2026. The Cypriot daily Haravgi published in its Monday, February 2 edition, a brief review of the tribute paid by the people of Havana to Cuba's National Hero, on the 173rd anniversary of his birth.

The review by the AKEL Party newspaper reports how in Havana “uniformed Cubans participate in a march and honor the 173rd anniversary of the birth of this distinguished figure of Cuban independence, José Martí, while also expressing their condemnation of the U.S. threats against the Caribbean island.”
