We celebrate the first anniversary of the victory of the people of Cuba against the acts of vandalism and hate that occurred in various places in Cuba on July 11, 2021. A historical lesson for those who, inside or outside of Cuba, tried to destabilize the Revolution.
What happened unleashed the rapid reaction of our people that in a few hours neutralized and defeated the provocative actions carried out in each place. Together with this, solidarity with Cuba was unleashed in many parts of the world.
The Cuban Medical Collaboration Brigade in Dominica, in commemoration of that victory, declares that:
Cuba does not forget its history.
The streets of Cuba belong to our children, to our people, where there is no room for those who, encouraged from abroad and serving the interests of the North American empire, lend themselves to developing acts of this nature.
We reaffirm that we are not afraid. We are a united, heroic and supportive people, ready to defend our Revolution to the last consequences.
We declare that our commitment is and will always be with the Homeland and that we will maintain Fidel's legacy. Doctors and not bombs.
The Homeland watches us proudly and we will defend it at whatever price is necessary. No one will take away our peace of mind. No one will tell us how to live.
Nobody can decide for us. Cuba has the right to live in peace, working and developing the chosen path of social justice.
