Doha, April 9, 2019. - A Cuban delegation from the National Assembly of People's Power, headed by Deputy María Yolanda Ferrer Gómez, president of the Foreign Relations Commission, and who is also a member of the IPU Executive Committee, participated in the work of this Assembly, which began on April 4 and will end tomorrow in this capital. The delegation was integrated by the deputy Alberto Núñez Betancourt and Jesús Rafael Mora González, assistant, both of the Foreign Relations Commission. The delegation also included the Ambassador of Cuba, Eumelio Caballero Rodríguez and Mrs. Yadirys Echenique Paz, second chief of mission. The 140th Assembly is attended by 1,600 delegates from 162 parliaments of the world.
