This Sunday a hundred Cubans residing in the state of Florida met in the city of Miami in favor of the elimination of the blockade on Cuba.
The initiative of the Bridges of Love project once again demonstrated the need to put an end to this hostile policy that has caused innumerable damage for more than six decades.
More than eighty cars left from the city council headquarters to Coral Gables. From there, they demanded an end to the sanctions and the blockade against the Island.
The coordinator of Bridges of Love Carlos Lazo, thanked the presence of Cubans and friends of Cuba and stressed that the fight against the blockade will continue until the definitive elimination of the sanctions that affect the Cuban family is achieved.
The occasion was also opportune to pay tribute to José Martí, with a floral offering on the bust of the Apostle, on the occasion of the 169th anniversary of his birth.
The caravan was also attended by the "José Martí Cultural Association", the "Martiana Alliance" and "Paz Amor".
