Deputy minister of Sport, Arts and Culture of South Africa visits Cuba

Havana, July 15, 2023.- The Deputy minister of Sport, Arts and Culture of South Africa, Nocawe Noncedo Mafu heads a delegation visiting Cuba to participate in the Run For Nelson Mandela.

During the event, the deputy minister was able to see the love of the Cuban people towards the great Madiba.

As part of her visit, Ms Mafu was received by the vice president of the National Institute of Sports and Recreation (INDER), Raúl Fornés Valenciano, with whom she talked about the bilateral relations in this field and the possibilities of increasing collaboration.

She also held a fruitful meeting with Kenelma Carvajal, deputy minister of Culture, during which the advocated the strengthening of the ties in this area.
