Pretoria, February 26, 2023.- The deputy president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Víctor Gaute, held a pleasant meeting with the members of the Cuban state mission in South Africa. Collaborators of the brigades of hydraulic engineers, construction, educators and doctors participated, as well as the Embassy staff.
In the exchange, Gaute commented on several issues of the current Cuban events, especially the celebration of the next general elections in the country. In addition, he highlighted the importance of continuing to denounce the effects of the American blockade, the main obstacle to the development of the economy of our country.
The collaborators were interested in the work currently developing the ICAP in the context of post pandemic and, in turn, shared experiences related to the work of solidarity in the country.
