Díaz-Canel attends Cuba solidarity meeting in Havana.

President Miguel Díaz-Canel is attending today in Havana the closing session of the International Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba and against imperialism.

The meeting, held at the Havana Convention Palace, is attended by 1,144 trade union leaders from 58 countries, from 220 organizations, among them representatives of trade union centers, solidarity movements and political parties.

The program of the Meeting foresees the work in three commissions that will deal with world trade unionism and workers' struggles; the just causes of the peoples and the struggles of solidarity organizations in defense of peace and sovereignty of the peoples.

The event is dedicated to the centenary of the physical disappearance of the leader of the world proletariat Vladimir Ilich Lenin, to the legacy of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and to other heroes of the Caribbean nation.

The final day of the event was preceded by visits and tours to enterprises and centers of economic and social relevance in this capital and in the western province of Artemisa.
