Havana, 24 April 2024 - Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, will participate in the XXIII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Trade and Peoples' Agreement (ALBA-TCP), which is being held today in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The Heads of State and Government will exchange views on various challenges facing the members of the Alliance, the region and the world, as well as other issues of interest for the benefit of our peoples.
ALBA is made up of Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Grenada and Cuba.
Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dagoberto Rodríguez Barrera, Ambassador of Cuba to Venezuela; and Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, Deputy Minister of MINREX and National Coordinator of the ALBA-TCP, among other MINREX leaders and officials were accompanying President Díaz-Canel as part of the delegation.
