The aggressive policy of the U.S. government continues to have a highly harmful effect on Cuba's economy, denounced today the president of the Caribbean country, Miguel Díaz-Canel, on his Twitter profile.
The Antillean head of state commented in successive tweets that the U.S. dominance over international financial structures and flows has given it the power to harm Cuba's external economic relations in almost every country in the world.
He argued that in order to justify that policy, Washington fabricates slanders and issues absolutely mendacious pronouncements that respond to a design previously made by the representatives of that government.
From the White House," the Cuban leader added, "they frequently update that policy with new and increasingly dishonest legends.
The United States trusts in its dominion over the media and is convinced that it has the capacity to deceive public opinion, especially that of its own country, although "it does not always have the desired success", remarked the Caribbean leader.
