Director of Latin America at MFA receives the Cuban Ambassador

Helsinki, July 1, 2022.- The Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra Gonzáles, was received this Thursday at the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by the Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, Anu Vuori Kiikeri.

During the exchange, the Cuban diplomat shared updated information on the Island, the anti-Covid strategy deployed throughout the country after the return to total normality, and the scope of the blockade in daily life, aggressively intensified during the period of the pandemic.

On the Finnish side, the Director of the Caribbean area and specialist from Cuba, Katja Karppinen, also participated.
