Dominica reiterates its support for Cuba in the battle against the US blockade at the United Nations.

Dominica, September 25, 2016. The Chancellor of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Honorable Senator Francine Baron,  reiterated the traditional support of her country to the lifting of the US blockade against Cuba, during the High-Level Segment of the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly held in New York.

Chancellor Baron acknowledged the progress made in the process of normalization of relations between Cuba and the United States, at the same time she called the lifting of the US trade and financial restrictions, to allow access of Cuba to the international economy.
