Kingstown, 25 March 2025. - The editor of "The Vincentian" newspaper, Mr. Cyprian Neehall, visited the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, where he was received by the ambassador, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry.
The Cuban diplomat and the journalist exchanged information on various topics of political, economic and social interest, such as the US economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba, the bilateral relations between SVG and Cuba, the current Cuban situation, among others. They also addressed issues associated with the media manipulation that exists today in relation to Cuba, such as the current political-media campaign against Cuban doctors and agreed on the importance of promoting cooperation in the area of press and communication.
The Vincentian is the oldest newspaper in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, founded in 1899. It has a weekly printed version that comes out on Fridays, while the online edition is available on the Internet at http://thevincentian.com.
