Embassy of Cuba in Mongolia held a presentation activity for the V International Convention “Cuba Health 2025” and the XVI Trade Fair “Health for All”

The Cuban Embassy in Mongolia held a presentation activity for the V International Convention “Cuba Health 2025”, the XVI Trade Fair “Health for All” and the II Medical Tourism and Wellness Fair that will take place from April 21 to 25, 2025.

Executives from some public and private hospitals and pharmaceutical companies in Mongolia, as well as health professionals, attended.

The Cuban ambassador, Jorge Ferrer, said that “Cuba Health 2025” includes congresses, symposiums, workshops and scientific meetings on health informatics, medical education in the XXI century, hygiene and epidemiology, primary care and nanosciences and nuclear technologies. Also on health and disasters, oral health, maternal and child health, rehabilitation, science and innovation in health, regulatory systems for medicines and medical devices, communication, etc.

The Cuban diplomat highlighted that Cuba-Salud 2022 had more than 2,000 in-person participants from 65 countries, including 44 high-level delegations, including some 20 Ministers. The 15th Health for All 2022 Trade Fair was attended by 118 companies from 40 markets and 68 Cuban firms, and 16 new contracts and commercial agreements were signed for more than 45 million USD.

He also stressed that “Cuba Salud 2025” is an opportunity to share Mongolia's experiences and learn about those of other countries in different areas of health, including the Cuban system with indicators similar to developed countries.

The Cuban Ambassador said that the XVI “Health for All” Trade Fair is a window to learn about medicines and technologies from around the world and from BIOCUBAFARMA, the Group of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries of Cuba.

BioCubaFarma exports to more than 40 countries; it has more than 2000 patents granted in other countries, including more than 100 in the USA and complies with the standards of Good Manufacturing Practices. It also has some 15 companies of its own or joint ventures in other countries, including in Asia: 5 in China, 1 in Thailand, 1 in Singapore, 2 in Spain, 1 in Germany, 1 in the United Kingdom (UK) and 4 in Latin America.
