(Doha, june 13) The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the State of Qatar is pleased to present the second edition of its 2026 Newsletter, covering the months of April, May and June.
This edition highlights key developments in Cuba-Qatar relations, including high-level meetings, growing talks in the fields of health and sports, and initiatives that continue strengthening the ties of friendship between both countries.
The newsletter also examines the impact of the intensified U.S. blockade on the daily lives of the Cuban people, particularly in the areas of energy, healthcare, education and food security. Through facts, testimonies and recent developments, it provides insight into the challenges Cuba faces and the resilience with which the country continues moving forward.
In addition, readers will find updates on Cuba's diplomatic engagement at the United Nations, expressions of international solidarity and activities carried out by the Embassy in service of the Cuban community in Qatar.
