Embassy of Cuba in South Africa celebrates the 62nd anniversary of the CDR

Pretoria, September 28, 2022.- The Embassy of Cuba in South Africa celebrates today the 62nd anniversary of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, in a simple but emotional political-cultural act.

With the participation of the entire work group, the important role of the CDR in the defense of Cuban national sovereignty and independence after the revolutionary triumph was recognized.

The central words of the act were given by Third Secretary of the Embassy in charge of political affairs, Bryan Betancourt Brito, who highlighted the importance of maintaining the vitality of the largest mass organization in Cuba and working towards its strengthening.
