Pretoria, November 29, 2022.- The Third Secretary from the Embassy of Cuba in South Africa, Bryan Betancourt, participated in the Central Executive Committee of the Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (POPCRU), an organization that celebrates its 33rd anniversary.
In his speech, the Third Secretary recognized the historical relations between POPCRU and the Cuban Central Workers Union (CTC, by its acronym in Spanish) and with the National Union of Civil Defense Workers and advocated the strengthening of the ties between the unions of both countries.
His words did not lack the condemnation to the blockade that for more than 60 years has caused suffering in the Cuban people, as well as gratitude for the support and solidarity of POPCRU in the fight against this criminal policy.
