Embassy of Cuba in South Africa participates in the event for the National Women's Month.

Pretoria, August 27, 2022.- The Embassy of Cuba in South Africa participated in the event Conversations + Consequence, held at Freedom Park, in the context of national celebrations for the Women´s Month. African ambassadors and members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in the nation also attended.

The meeting was dedicated to honoring women who fought against the apartheid regime. Likewise, the challenges women face in today's world, in particular, South African women, were also addressed.

The CEO of Freedom Park, Jane Mufamadi, called the new generations of women not to forget history and continue to fight to conquer true gender equality.
