Pretoria, November 25, 2022.- The staff from the Embassy of Cuba in South Africa as well as representatives of the collaborations that are part of the Cuban State Mission paid tribute to our Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz, six years after his passing to immortality.
In the words of the Third Secretary, Bryan Betancourt, the Commander in Chief was remembered for his enduring example for all Cubans, his extraordinary leadership qualities and deep moral values, as well as reiterating the commitment of the new generations to the legacy of their eternal leader.
Particularly emotional for the participants was listening to the poem "Canto a Fidel", by Carilda Oliver, a beautiful ode to the Commander, which perfectly reflects the feelings of thousands of people around the world.
