Emilio Cueto: Cuban culture is extraordinary.

Celebrating culture from abroad has a greater meaning, because it indicates that one has Cuba very present, even if you are not in the soil of the homeland. 
With these words, Cuban American researcher and curator Emilio Cueto, expressed his joy at celebrating this October 20 at the Cuban Embassy in Washington D.C., together with the diplomatic staff of this headquarters and friends of the Island. 
This date not only represents the intonation of the National Anthem for the first time, but also celebrates the greatness of Cuban culture, which has the gift of dazzling in so many fields such as music, literature and the plastic arts, added Cueto.
During the political-cultural activity, Cueto, who is also a lawyer, led the audience through a masterful journey through the history of Cuba's National Anthem.
During the recent celebrations for the National Day of Cuban Culture, Emilio Cueto presented the book "The presence of Cuba and Cubans in foreign philately", a literary work that shows the influence of the island's history, culture, science and sports in the world.
