His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani Emir of the State of Qatar, sent a message of condolences to the President of the Republic of Cuba, His Excellency Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, for the victims of the unfortunate accident at the Saratoga Hotel in the Cuban capital, according to a press release published by the Amiri Diwan on its website.
A similar message of condolences was sent to the Cuban President by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, Vice Emir of the State of Qatar, as per the report issued by the same source.
According to information published by the Qatar News Agency, H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, Prime Minister of the sister nation, also extended condolences to his Cuban counterpart H.E. Manuel Marrero Cruz.
Cuba and Qatar have excellent bilateral relations whose governments want to consolidate through cooperation in different sectors.
