Exhibition inauguration of Cuban painter Rodobaldo Hernández in Cyprus.
Limassol, December 11, 2017.- The MihoArt Gallery, located to the south of the capital Nicosia, was chosen as the venue for the presentation of the first painting exhibition by the Cuban artist Rodobaldo Hernandez Garcia, which will be open to the public until the 23rd of December.
At the opening of the activity, the Cuban Ambassador in Cyprus, Omar Leyva Rafull, was in charge of the inaugural words, highlighting that despite the geographical distance that exists between the european country and Cuba, activities of this type show that something as noble as art can be an ideal vehicle to bring both peoples together.
With the title “Love and Freedom”, the renowned Cuban journalist and presenter, Hernández García, on this occasion detaches himself from the mass media to expose part of his work in the world of fine arts, giving way to his first personal exhibition.
The inaugural activity also included the presence of artists, renowned local figures, Cubans residing in Cyprus, the collective of the Cuban mission in the country and friends of Cuba.
