Dublin, February 6, 2026. Last night, an exhibition of paintings by Cuban-born, Irish-based artist Brady Izquierdo Rodríguez, entitled “Suspended in the Landscape,” opened at the TØN Contemporary Art Gallery, near the iconic Temple Bar in the Irish capital.
The Cuban ambassador, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, who was present at the opening, congratulated the artist, expressing the pride Cuba feels in having an artist, painter, and cartoonist of Brady's caliber and initiative in Ireland. She also thanked fellow curator AnneMarie Saliba for her kind invitation and support.
“Elephant Kiss,” “The Scream,” “In the Silence of Waiting,” “The Lousy Player,” “The Sound of Smoke and Tea,” “The Acrobat of sin”, “I Can’t Tell It all alone", and the work that gives the exhibition its title, “Suspended in the Landscape,” are some of the paintings that make up this interesting and original exhibition. All of them feature vibrant colors and are ready for individual interpretation of their intrinsic messages, from different perspectives and angles.
The first night saw a steady stream of visitors who, despite the Dublin rain, were drawn to “Suspended in the Landscape” and engaged in lively conversations with the Cuban artist.
The exhibition will be open until February 28th and can be visited from Thursday to Sunday, from 12 to 5 pm, at 25 A Teplelane South, Templebar, Dublin 2.
