Dublin, June 20, 2018. The Hero of the Republic of Cuba and President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, Fernando Gonzalez Llort upon his arrival in Dublin held a fraternal meeting with Irish personalities friends of the Cuban Revolution and leaders of the solidarity movement with Cuba.
Fernando had the opportunity to thank on behalf of his colleagues to those who were the protagonists of varied actions in the framework of the international campaign to achieve the liberation of the Cuban Five patriots, who suffered prolonged and unfair imprisonment in the United States. He also thanked for the solidarity to put an end to the unjust blockade imposed by the US government on the Cuban people and invited them to hold that flag aloft.
