Festival of flavors of Latin America and Cuba Day

Canberra, June 3. The Cuban Embassy in Canberra organized with the professional team of the Hyatt Hotel, the night of Cuba that had typical dishes: ropa vieja, congrí rice, cassava with mojo, roasted pork, corn fritters, and rice with milk . All this, accompanied by mojitos, advertisements and decorations that made the public perceive the Cuban culture and gastronomy.
Likewise, on May 31st, the Festival was inaugurated, where Cuban dishes were also presented. In this dinner of gala to the Festival of Latin American Gastronomy, important personalities of government participated, parliamentarians and members of the diplomatic corps credited in the country.
The keynote were offered by Chancellor Julie Bishop, who referred to her work to strengthen and strengthen relations between Australia and Latin American countries.
