With tears in their eyes, but with the certainty that Fidel lives in every Cuban, members of the Cuban Embassy in the United States remembered the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution seven years after his physical departure.
The historical legacy of the Commander-in-Chief, his exploits and thoughts were the focus of the small but heartfelt tribute. The ceremony was accompanied by poems, songs and a short recount of Fidel's great works. 
The head of the Cuban Mission in this country, Lianys Torres Rivera, expressed the commitment of the collective to continue fighting and enhancing Fidel's revolutionary work.
Likewise, the diplomat referred to the presence of his ideas during the recent Conference "The Nation and Emigration"; space in which he was also honored.
To the rhythm of the song "Cabalgando con Fidel" (Riding with Fidel), those present gave a pink rose to the "Horse" and in unison reaffirmed, once again, that #FidelVive.
