Havana.- From November 6 to 11, the XXXXIX Havana International Fair FIHAV 2023 will take place in the halls of the Expocuba fairgrounds. The call was announced by Ricardo Cabrisas, Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba .
FIHAV 2022, which took place after two years of confronting the Covid-19 pandemic, had a successful result. Companies from more than 60 countries were represented; More than twenty official delegations and more than 30 chamber entities attended. A significant number of trade agreements were signed in its context.
In 2023, exhibitors, businessmen and professionals from all sectors and actors of the Cuban economy will converge at the headquarters of the Fair; and a wide international trade show. It will be a favorable space for the development of business meetings, business rounds, seminars and conferences, among other activities. On Saturday, November 11, FIHAV 2023 will open to the general public, a day on which a varied program dedicated to the Cuban family will be offered.
Likewise, the VI Investment Forum will be held, which repeats as an excellent occasion to hold bilateral meetings between Cuban and foreign businessmen, potential foreign investors; as well as to continue sharing ideas and exchanging about the challenges in terms of attracting investment.
On this occasion, it is expected to have for the first time a space dedicated to Cubans residing abroad who today have business relations with their homeland, to which others who are in the process of or intend to establish new businesses with the island.
Activities to promote Cuban exportable funds will also be carried out, which will include productions and services of state and non-state management forms and a representation of the Exporting Productive Poles will be present, which already number thirteen in the country. As usual at the Fair, various business forums, events, presentations of various matters of interest will take place and the delegations of each country will be able to celebrate the National Days in their pavilions.
FIHAV is the most important general commercial stock exchange in Cuba and the Caribbean, and one of the most representative in Latin America. The Fair has been held since 1983 and has positioned itself as an excellent business platform for new companies in the market and those already established.
