November 1, 2022.- The Finland-Cuba solidarity brigade began activities this Friday in the Greater Antilles. A few hours after his arrival, he was received at the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), by Claudia Pérez Berlanga, a specialist from the Northern Europe group.
During this day they toured the Fidel Castro Center and paid tribute to Camilo Cienfuegos, on the Anniversary of his Physical Disappearance, accompanying the traditional pilgrimage to the Havana boardwalk. Among other activities, this Saturday they shared with the director of the National Theater of Cuba, Neryda López, and enjoyed the staging of "Gisselle" by the Cuban National Ballet.
On Sunday, on their way to the province of Las Tunas where they carried out voluntary work days, they toured the Playa Girón museum, from where they followed the actions of the Bridges of Love and against the blockade of Cuba. Prior to his departure from Finland, his highest representative, Toni Kuhanen, expressed that "this solidarity brigade proves to the world that Cuba is not alone."
