Helsinki, September 30, 2022.- Ambassador Beatriz Parra González held an exchange this Friday with the Group of Friends of Cuba deputies in the Finnish parliament.
The meeting was organized by Heli Järvinen, from the Green League and president of the group, and the deputy and vice-president of the same Jaana Pelkonen, from the National Coalition Party, and Päivi Räsänen, legislator for the Christian Democrats, also participated.
During the exchange, the Cuban diplomat referred to the state of the country, recently affected by the devastating Hurricane Ian, and after the impact of the prolonged US blockade, intensified in the last two years.
She also exchanged information on the result of the recent legislative referendum, that allowed the approval of the new family code in Cuba.
