First Deputy Foreign Minister of Cuba participates in Friends of BRICS Foreign Ministers Meeting

Cape Town, June 02, 2023.- The First Deputy Foreign Minister of Cuba, Gerardo Peñalver Portal, is participating in the Meeting of Friends of BRICS Foreign Ministers Meeting, to be held in South Africa, the country that holds the temporary chairmanship of this group.

The event will contribute to deepening dialogue and identifying practical actions on the central role that the countries of the South must play in global efforts to overcome the multiple crises that affect us.

In his speech, the first deputy minister highlighted that the world is in urgent need of a new civilized coexistence, based on an order in which solidarity, cooperation and integration among countries prevail.
