Dublin, Ireland, December 1, 2024: The First Lady of Ireland, Sabina Higgins, today visited the stand of the Cuban embassy in Dublin, present in the Bazaar of the diplomatic community accredited in the Irish capital. The Cuban ambassador, Bernardo Guanche Hernández and his wife, Mabel Rodríguez Morera, welcomed Mrs. Higgins, expressing their gratitude for such a friendly gesture towards Cuba, a reflection of the excellent state of relations between both countries.
The event, organized by the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and the authorities of the Irish capital, takes place each year at the complex known as “RDS”.
The bazaar aims to promote relations between the missions that make up the diplomatic corps, expose the cultural and culinary traditions of the participants, as well as contribute to charitable institutions.
This annual experience allows the public to visit the stands of the different participating countries. Visitors of all ages can enjoy traditional world products, fun, performances and entertainment. The “RDS”, with 10 multi-purpose conference/exhibition rooms, 15 meeting/working group rooms and an open-air stadium, spans more than 22,000 square metres.
