First level meeting Minsitry of Education of Cuba - Department of Basic Education SA

As part of the official program of the visit to South Africa of the Vice Minister of Education of Cuba, Cira Piñeiro, a high-level Cuba-South Africa meeting was held today with the participation of a delegation of South African educational authorities chaired by the Minister of Basic Education of South Africa , Angie Motshekga.

After the meeting, the Cuban representative took a tour of the Freedom Park museum, where they paid tribute to the Cuban martyrs fighters of the struggles against the apartheid regime and colonialism in southern Africa.
