FOCUS expresses its solidarity with Cuba in the face of the attack on the Cuban embassy in Washington

Pretoria, September 26, 2023 - The Cuba Friendship Association in South Africa, FOCUS, expressed its support and solidarity with the Cuban people in the face of the terrorist attack that occurred on the night of September 24 at the Cuban embassy in Washington.

The message condemns the terrorist acts against Cuba perpetrated from the United States and calls on the US government to protect the Cuban diplomatic headquarters, under the principles of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

Besides, FOCUS calls for the removal of Cuba from the State Sponsors of Terrorism List, when it is clearly observed that it is a victim of this scourge.
