Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez today highlighted the celebration of the Day of National Rebellion of the Caribbean country in several parts of the world, led by Cuban nationals and friends in solidarity.
The foreign minister said in his Twitter account that the celebrations were marked by the certainty that it is possible to creatively resist the blockade imposed by the United States on the island.
Several U.S. cities and other parts of the world reported expressions of support for Cuba and condemnation of the continuous aggression of imperialism.
In salute to the 70th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks (1953), activists ratified their support for the Revolution and demanded the end of the unilateral measure imposed for more than six decades.
