Friends of Cuba Society, FOCUS, sends a congratulatory message to the Cuban people

Pretoria, March 31, 2023.- The organization Friends of the Cuban Society (FOCUS) conveyed a heartfelt message of congratulations to the people and government of Cuba for the resounding victory in the recently held general elections. The message highlights the high level of popular participation in the elections, 75.92%, an evident sign of the broad support of the people to the Revolution.

In addition, FOCUS condemned the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against the island and demanded its immediate lifting, as well as the withdrawal of the United States from the illegal base it maintains in Guantanamo Bay.
