London, 21 May 2019. A significant representation of the Solidarity with Cuba friends gathered this afternoon to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution.
The Cuban Ambassador to the UK, Teresita Vicente Sotolongo, the Director of the Cuba Solidarity Campaign, Rob Miller, and the Member of Parliament and leader of All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Cuba, Karen Lee, delivered speeches at the emotional ceremony.
The Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Rocío Maneiro, several MPs, trade unionists, academicians, Cubanos en UK, an association that gathers fellow countrymen and women residing in the United Kingdom and many solidarity friends who have always accompanied Cuba and its Revolution, were present. In a friendly and festive atmosphere, where there was no lack of authentic Cuban music, they shared this celebration with the Cuban State Mission staff in this city.
