At a meeting held in Cape Town, South Africa, with "Friends of the Cuban Society," (FOCUS), dozens of comrades participated, interested in strengthening and consolidating ties of friendship and solidarity with the Cuban Revolution.
The event served as a space to exchange on the current situation of our country and to inform the participants about the process of updating the Cuban economic and social model.
The Ambassador, Rodolfo Benítez Verson, thanked FOCUS for its continued support to our country in its fight against the illegal blockade imposed by the United States government. He also referred to the current situation that crosses the country and the region.
The coordinator of FOCUS in the city, Fátima Swartz, for her part, reiterated the commitment of the organization with Cuba, and offered details about the organization of the next Solidarity with Cuba Brigade, which will visit our country this year.
