The grandson of the historic leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Hassan Khomeini, visited the Residence of Cuba to express his deep condolences for the recent death of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
Khomeini was received by the Ambassador Vladimir Gonzalez Quesada, with whom he had a pleasant dialogue, recalling the grateful moments he had the opportunity to share with Fidel during his visit to Cuba in 2002. On that occasion, they led a march of the fighting people in Havana, which departed from the Anti-imperialist Tribune, in front of the then US Interests Office.
The Ambassador thanked him for his visit and said that the detailed description of the moments lived with Fidel, ratified that he was an exceptional leader stood out as a revolutionary and statesman, but at the same time was able to share directly with his people.
In the book of condolences Khomeini expressed his heartfelt condolences for the death of the great fighter and historical leader of Cuba, noting that the name of Fidel is associated with freedom and the struggle to achieve it. He added that Fidel was a man who in the adverse world of today, wanted everything best for his country.
