Brisbane, 15 November 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia signed this morning, on behalf of the University of Havana, an agreement of academic and scientific cooperation with Griffith University, in the city of Brisbane, Queensland.
Signing for the Australian side were Sarah Todd, Vice-President of the leading academic institution and Professor Andreas Neef, Dean Researcher of the Law, Arts and Education Group.
The signing ceremony was attended by leading professors and researchers from different fields of knowledge from Griffith University. The agreement opens the doors for the development of cooperation in different areas of knowledge and constitutes a step forward that strengthens the relations between the University of Havana and Griffith University.
The Cuban Ambassador to Australia expressed her satisfaction for the signing of the instrument and reaffirmed the will to continue advancing in the field of academic relations between the two countries.
