On 14 July, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Pablo Ginarte and Press Officer Orestes Martinez participated in a high-level briefing organized by Sinn Féin at Portcullis House, the seat of the British Parliament.
The meeting was led by Mary Lou McDonald, President of Sinn Féin, and Michelle O'Neill, First Minister of Northern Ireland and Deputy President of Sinn Féin.
The meeting highlighted shared values such as respect for sovereignty, constructive dialogue and the right of peoples to self-determination. Sinn Féin reiterated its solidarity with Cuba and Palestine in the face of the injustices and aggressions suffered by both peoples.
For its part, the Cuban delegation expressed our country's deep gratitude for the constant support against the U.S. blockade and for raising a coherent and firm voice in defense of global justice.
