Interest in Cuban biotechnology products ratified in Mongolia

Ulan Bator, Mongolia. October 5, 2017. Mr. Ochirbat Dagvadorj, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health of Mongolia, confirmed this morning the interest in continuing to work to register and implement projects to care for Mongolian patients with Cuban biotechnological products. In a meeting with Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción and Yahima Vega Ojeda, Commercial Specialist of Heber Biotec SA, a trading company of CIGB, who visits Ulaanbaatar this week to continue working on the registration of the drug against diabetic foot ulcers (HeberProt - P), the Secretary of State pointed out that it was of great interest to the Ministry of Health to pay attention to this condition in the population of diabetics in Mongolia.

Last March, a CIGB delegation headed by its Director Dr. Eulogio Pimentel visited Ulan Bator following an invitation of the President of Mongolia, initiating a fruitful exchange of information related to the center's products that could contribute to the treatment of major diseases which affect this nation.

During this week, the specialist of Heber Biotec will also hold meetings with managers and specialists from public and private hospitals, the Health Development Center, distribution companies and drug dealers, the National Institute of Endocrinology and the National Institute of Plant Research. In the meetings the high scientific and investigative level of the pharmaceutical products produced in the CIGB has been recognized, as well as its decisive contribution in the improvement of the health indexes of the Cuban population.
